RESEARCH SERVICES

Let me HELP you in your family history research with a review of where you are at, what you might have missed, and where you might look next.

Whether you are just starting out, have spent months digging around, or are deeply immersed in years of research, I can help you clarify your immediate research problems and objectives through my broad and deep knowledge of the online, printed, public, and manuscript sources for New England. I can also assist you with long-term research and also with publication planning, including manuscript editing.

I resided for many years near Concord, Massachusetts, doing boots-on-the-ground research at the major public document repositories in all six NE states, such as the National Archives Regional Center in Waltham, MA, the Massachusetts Archives at Columbia Point, and other significant public collections in Essex, Middlesex, Plymouth and Worcester counties. I am a member of both the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the Old Colony Historical Museum, and The Genealogical Forum of Oregon, an all-volunteer run society. And, of course, I am a subscriber to Ancestry.
